WHAT'S YOUR PROCESS?
Video production is no walk in the park – plenty goes into producing a high-quality video, and the process depends on each project’s unique requirements. Typically, as a Toronto video production company, our production process looks like this: Research & Development – We always start with thorough research and development where we dive into video concept creation, video campaigning, storyboarding, scriptwriting, and location scouting. Pre-Production – We take care of all project management, including scheduling, sourcing, licensing, and communication with clients and actors. We map out all the necessary equipment, shooting days, and editing days before production begins. Live-Action Production – We always use state-of-the-art cameras, lights, audio equipment, drones, and more to capture everything we need to create the story mapped out in our creative brief. We plan everything well in advance to ensure the day runs smoothly with a schedule and, of course, solid communication. Post-Production – This is where the magic happens. We take all of the video footage and realize your story through editing, color grading, compositing, rendering, exporting, musical score, sound FX voice-overs, sound recording, mixing, and mastering. Here, we finalize your video with any visual effects like animation or motion design.
WHAT FILE FORMAT WILL I RECEIVE?
We can provide you with nearly any video file format you need. Typically, our clients request files in MP4, MOV, or WEBM format.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PRODUCE?
Each project typically takes us between 5-7 weeks to produce. Depending on each client's unique needs, we can always finalize the video sooner or later.
HOW DOES CHANGE REQUESTS WORK?
We’re always open to discuss any changes to your video. All you have to do is drop us an email or give us a call. Each project includes a complimentary first round of changes, with additional changes at an additional cost.
WHAT'S THE PAYMENT PROCESS?
Any projects under $100k require a 50% deposit upfront with the remaining 50% upon project completion. Why? We want you to love the final product before the final payment. For any video projects over $100k, we provide custom payment terms.
CAN I BUY THE RAW FILES?
Yes! We offer free storage of video footage for up to 6 months for each project, and you can purchase RAW Files at an additional cost (subject to the amount and quality of the video footage). This cost will also include the hard drive and shipping fees.
WHAT DO I DO WITH THE FINAL FILES?
Upon final delivery of each project, we ensure you have all the correct outputs ready for distribution. We can also assist you with the distribution strategy for an additional cost. This process usually involves collaborating with another agency or marketing consultant specialized in your industry and distribution methods to create a game plan to optimize your investment.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE? HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
Our Toronto Video Production company uses industry-leading equipment, including an Alexa 35, RED DSMC2 2 Dragon-X 6K cameraInspire 2 x7 Drone, and Black Magic Ursa Mini Pro 4.6k camera. If you require alternative or specific equipment, we’re happy to rent additional camera equipment as needed.
HOW DO WE CAREFULLY TAILOR OUR APPROACH TO CREATE YOUR MASTERPIECE?
Concept & Creative Development - It all starts with the foundations. This includes concept creation, scriptwriting, and storyboarding. Pre-Production - We'll seamlessly handle the nitty-gritty details of pre-production logistics - including scheduling, sourcing props & costumes, location scouting, and coordination. Toronto Live-Action Production - United by a shared vision for your project and equipped with cutting-edge equipment, we'll capture every scene of your story beautifully. Post Production - This is where the magic happens. We'll transform raw footage into a powerful story with editing, compositing, rendering, sound, animation, mixing, and mastering.
HOW ARE THE RAW FILES DELIVERED?
If you request the RAW video files, we can ship them to you on a hard drive upon project completion. However, if you express a need for the RAW files before project completion and we outlined special arrangements for this, we can proceed accordingly.
